Right before Episode 44 of the ongoing donghua The Demon Hunter 2 premiered in China, its official Weibo account released six new insert song “lyrics posters” featuring protagonist Meng Chuan in his newly acquired Eighth Stage of Body Refinement.
A new stage he was only able to attain after he fought with Chu Heng in a potentially deadly battle.
The new The Demon Hunter 2 lyrics posters feature Meng Chuan in various stages of his body morphing into the Eighth Stage of refinement.
On each poster are the Chinese lyrics of the new insert song, which accompanied his transformation at the end of Episode 44 (Episode 14 of Season 2).
The donghua’s Weibo account also commented about the episode in the same nonchalant, matter-of-face frame of mind Meng Chuan is usually in:
‘Refining Evil Spirits’ lyrics posters.
