Just like they did for Episode 44 of The Demon Hunter 2, the official Weibo account for the hit donghua series has released some absolutely stunning lyrics posters for the insert song from Episode 45.
The six posters feature gorgeous stills from the ending scenes of The Demon Hunter 2, Episode 45 as Ning Yibu sacrifices himself for Meng Chuan by walking directly onto the cursed sword.
Each of the posters includes a line of lyrics from the song “Wildfire“, which is performed by Li Ge. (Listen to the song, and see the full lyrics, here).

Even if I’m just a passerby, I want my name to be engraved
